A typical newsstand, as can be seen often in Paris.
A house, inspired by one I saw in the Rue Lepic, Montmartre, Paris. It’s an exercise of weathered and worn surfaces, es well as an expression of my fondness for Paris-style roofs and chimneys. Sketch made in my hotel room (with said house visible through the window) with Koh-I-Noor Hardtmuth 3H pencil, then colorised with Schmincke Horadam watercolours.
My very first “proper” sketch.
